Teal Trace
Residence
Jackson Hole Wyoming
This 8,000 square foot frame house has hand-hewn siding and chinking on the exterior and interior, and features hand-selected antique timbers throughout. The large great room captures views to the north to the Teton mountain range and to the east to a private fishing stream and the “Sleeping Indian” mountain peak, and has a custom designed, 2-story see-through wood burning fireplace. The staircase was designed to include real antique timbers and new construction painted to achieve an antique look and is a very unique feature of this home. The country-style kitchen features a butler’s pantry and breakfast nook, with a cozy adjacent dining room. The home also has a music room, billiards room, and media room on the lower level with barn wood accents. The upper level features a piano loft which overlooks the great room and it too has views out to the mountains and the private stream. The upper level also includes a master bedroom suite, two guest master suites, and a “grandkids” room with a play-loft all of which have views out to the Teton mountain range or to the Gros Ventre mountains and the private stream.
